B'day surprise for ShiYing & SiaoChi! It was a surprise, they were fooled by Kenny so we could do the necessary preparations.

Is a pony cart. We sat on it while delivering rice and daily necessities to the nearby villagers. It was vvvvvvv fun!

Feels great to be back in SG, but I suddenly miss the times when I went to kope maggie mee and milo from other ppl at night/watching WWE with other ppl/watching KBS World in the morning after waking up/singing in the bus/teasing the teachers/bargaining prices!!!

Reflection: I learnt how to haggle/bargain prices;) I think we made enemies with the shopkeepers =p had a fruitful trip cause I bought clothes that are not expensive.

Some of us bought "same same but different" shirts!
It's cute how some of us wore the same shirts:)

ShiYing SiaoChi Ellene went to do a manicure @ some shopping centre in Phnom Penh, haha. The price was so good that I wanted to do my nails too, but I can't cause I play the piano. Argh

I'm back!

2 words: CAMBODIA ROCKS!!!!!!!

Had a great 7 days there, everyday was filled with laughter:)
sometimes I feel a sense of loneliness, seeing friends chatting heartily with their own close friends...

THE WEATHER THERE IS HOT LIKE ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZF***!! LOL

Anyway I have TONS of pictures to upload!

Good things are worth the wait! Haha

Came back from parents meeting.

I didn't pin high hopes to get good results.
My teachers and parents say that I'm extremely hardworking (I'm not trying to show off here) but after 3 years, I still don't see any desired results.
So Mrs Chia said that sometimes if your friend's maths and sciences are better than yours, but if your english is better, your class position will also be better.

Ha. Bullshit, I say.

Yea I thank my teachers for giving me so much support and I promise I'll do my best.
But it's fucking demoralising when your friends around you are doing so much better.
I won't hope for much; I've never been hoping for any more than a pass. Seems like until now, fate's decision is going against me..

Don't tell me, "aiyah it's like that one la, just try harder next time" when your results are good/better.

So... The shocking truth was out today. RESULTS!!!
Atrocious shit! But I'm not surprised, really.

Ever since pri5 my results plunged and never went back up again. >_>
It's fine y'know... I'll just work hard and not wish for anything more than just a pass..

Anyway, these are the subjects I failed:
Physics, EMaths p2, PGeog, SS, HCL p2.
PATHETIC SHIT.

Those exclude CA marks. So I passed Pgeog and combined humans overall, haha. My Emaths remained as a fail.. -.-
I think I'll fail the others thanks to my CA marks, such as chem. Zzz

EXAMS ARE OVER! (1 more chi listening compre but dude who cares AHAHA)

Eng papers a few weeks ago were okay but I screwed higher chi! :(
Started intensive mugging last Friday and didn't manage to celebrate Mother's Day.

10th May - EMaths P1 + Elect Lit. Emaths p1 was totally... f**ked up! :'((( didn't have enough time to complete elect lit and that sucks

11th May - SS + Pure Geography. I swear THIS IS THE WORST COMBINATION EVER. Hardcore geog for 7hrs+ and neglected SS, but in the end SS wasn't so bad after all haha.

12th May - AMaths. 3E5's so-called best subject! Rofl, the difficulty was so-so. Proud of myself lol

13th May - Physics. Nothing much to say cause after so much studying, I ended up forgetting most of the stuffs next morning zzzz

14th May - EMaths P2 + Chemistry. Emaths p2 was EASIER THAN P1! Didn't expect it and I'm even more proud of myself now;) Sigh sigh the mole concept totally ruined chem, the end.

After a few days of rest it'll be time to face our awesome results :'(((((

So, sports day last Wed (14/4).

Met C, Jojo, ShiHui @ JP, 7am.
Took the mrt to Clementi and walked to Clementi stadium. It was early morning yet we were alr sweating like... Idk.

So reached there > took attendance > sat down at Fortius's side > watched ppl run with flags and the torch.

Had to zoom in a lot...
Mr Ong was running LOL! See him? Last row. He's the only one in jeans rofl.
Later when Shihui asked him why he wore jeans, he said,
"Oh cause I wore shorts but I realised there wasn't pockets, so I just wore my pants."
We were like lol but it's so hot ._.

C/Jojo/SH/X.Han opened their umbrellas and brought mini fans haha.
I shared an umbrella with SH.
Walked around and did our own stuffs and watched ppl run relays etc...
Eventually found space at the last row where it was windy and no sun at all:)

Lee Hongki hurt over lip-syncing accusations

F.T.Island’s Lee Hongki shared his stories on today’s episode of Strong Heart about always going off key and cracking his voice while singing.

He also spoke about being called a “hand-sync band,” which is a term that people use to describe bands that play with their instruments for recording, then only pretend to play the instruments during actual performances.

Lee Hongki first talked about his mistake on SBS Gayo Daejun where he went off key. He said, “I wasn’t feeling well and I did make a mistake.” He was so sick that he had to go to the hospital after the performance.

He continued, “After that, even when I tried really hard and did well live, people accused me of lipsyncing.”

Chinese oral! Was "shivering" the whole day cause I was scared of oral -.-
passage reading was not bad, but the discussion was wtf.
Won't be able to get 36/40 like I did last year;(

headed for lit class after that.

Yesterday,
was one of the worst days this year cause I had a severe headache.

March hols are here but why am I not looking forward to it?

Totally walked down memory lane last night! Reminiscing what happened during the March hols:
2 years ago, 1E4 had a class bbq @ ECP.
Last year on 13th March, I went for my Grade5 theory exam. This year, yesterday, Paul Liew went for his exam haha.
And last year, my parents + aunt + me went to Pulau Ubin. Never felt so relaxed before but then some arsehole teacher went and spoilt the whole mood. zz

I'm amazed at how time flies:(

The weather has gone mad!
Few hours ago it was raining and now it's sunny like *$!@#$%.

Last Friday,
after school I went to the student hub to slack with Roy, SiaoChi, Fiona.

This is Roy playing the wii guitar thingy.
Lol I tried strumming the guitar and he pressed other buttons and we owned wii :D

At night for dinner, my uncle treated our relatives (11 of us) to a FREE seafood dinner cos he struck toto!
My relatives are just plain lucky >:(
the whole dinner was actually quite cheap, $450+.
He refused to tell us how much he won but I'm guessing over $200,000.

Saturday,
I spent my day practicing my piano and doing homework.
In the end nothing much was done hahaha.

Yesterday,
ZiYin, Clara, HweeMin, ShiHui and I went out to film for our project.

Walked around for a few hours and we learned that not all angmohs are courteous! >:(
after that, National Library.
Got chased by security guards 3 times cos we sat on the floor >_>"

Today I woke up @ 5.30am and went to Clementi bus interchange to meet Mrs Chia and my teammates (Eustacia, ChaoXiang, Douglas)
Took bus 96 and reached NUS at 7.40am and registered our school.
NUS gave us a goodie bag which contained our shirt (Y), notebook, magazine and.. Newspaper?

Entered the wtf damn big lecture hall for briefing at 8am+.

after that, went to another lecture hall (4 times smaller but still nice) for our competition 1st round.
Sat for this wtf super difficult Pgeog MCQ paper (like exam sia) from 9.10am - 9.55am.
I think I only knew how to do like 5/30 questions -.-
had a break till 10.30 and went to NUS's canteen which had Burger King but didn't buy anything.

Then went back for the 2nd round of the competition.
Had to design this building blah blah blah (with teammates) which is damn difficult like shit and we only had 45mins ZZZ
so Douglas kept saying that we're gonna fail fail fail lolol

yeah it ended and we went back to the ultra mega big lecture hall for debrief and we went on our separate ways.
Haha Mrs Chia paid for everything - our snacks, drinks, competition fee etc =p

We're like competing against 87 schools and half or more schs are like top schools WTF.
The chance of us entering the semi-finals (30 schools only) are like... 2 - 5%? :(
and we saw Hwa Chong Institution's design. Which made us feel like crushing our own design LOL. :(

I keep thinking that this year 2E4'09 will be together again;(

Stepping into the school hall after 2 long months I feel like I have a "higher authority"!
This "higher authority" = senior.
Although the sea of unfamiliar faces around me have been around for 2 years+, it still feels like there's a barrier preventing me from interacting with them. It's awkward, in a sense.

Anyway Shihui and I got through the boring 1st day.
There was this talk from 9am - 6pm which suddenly made me prefer studying in class -.-
then when we're studying we'll be preferring this talk. Lol

And y'know what I was supposed to be in 3E4 cause I'm in course B -.-
anyway I gotta stay back 4 times a week:(
pure Geog - 2 times a week.
elective Lit - once a week.
Plus higher mother tongue.

I personally think that Superstar Virgo's hotel room is much more class,

I've taken a liking to German pianos nowadays.
The keys are hard, but most grand pianos' keys are hard, so..
All practical exams' piano keys are hard so I gotta practice!

Yea if I feel confident enough I might be registering for the ABRSM exam.

Day1.

Had to freaking wake up at 6am to board the coach which leaves at 7.30am..
The whole journey took like 5hrs!
Luckily there were movies to entertain me.. Such as the Chronicles of Narnia, lol.

Finally reached Malaysia:

Hm on the way up the mountain(?)...

And yea checked in at 3pm, was supposed to meet my cousins (cause they came by car) but couldn't find them.
So mom and I took a tour around Genting's theme parks =p

See this roller coaster!!!! It's like the scariest of all! To me, that is.
Can turn 360 degrees leh!
My cousins and I were brave enough to ride it on the 2nd day LOL.

So yea we walked to another hotel which Idk what it's name is.

Guess most of you know how the hotel suites look like already..

yep okay so we walked around and around the indoor theme park and BOOM.
I met my aunt and 1 cousin on the escalator LOL.
We were shocked like O_O then we went to find my other cousins..

If I'm not wrong I think we went for dinner together...
Then walked around again, then went back to our hotel rooms.

Read my book from 9 - 10pm then fell asleep.

Day2.

Got up at 6am again!
Mom wanted to rush to the breakfast buffet early cause she's afraid of the crowd later -__-
Imagine having breakfast at 6.30am!! Ugh.

Btw their orange juice isn't too bad.
Okay finished breakfast at 7am and went to my cousins' rooms to disturb them =p

Took early morning pictures at the 12th floor.
Breathtaking!

I slept on their couch of their VIP rooms (wtf right?) for half an hour.
I reckon I was the only one freezing in there!
They were wearing SHORTS, ~~heck~~...

Played 21点 with them :D

Hm so we went out to the outdoor theme park since it was such a sunny day.
Rode one of the roller coasters which we had to queue 45mins for...
And the ride was barely 2 mins long!!!

In the end it was rly rly fun so it was worth it...
Although I kept screaming when it went downhill x.x

k next we went round all the rides till... 1pm+?
All of us met up and went for lunch.
I actually fell asleep during lunch LOL!

After that 2 of my cousins and I went to the theme park again :D
the adults gave us $ to ride the suuuuuuper scary ride (as mentioned in the beginning!)
we couldn't wear slippers on the roller coaster so we went BAREFOOTED.
3 of us were shivering in the wind -___-

went back to the hotel at 5pm and all of us made the decision to go to the Strawberry Park...
Took my cousins' car there.

AWESOME! LOL

hehe I had the joy of picking the strawberries rofl!

Didn't know you had to buy ugly-looking shoes for bowling -__-
played 2 rounds, 10 sets each.
Scored lowest among all of my cousins x.x
I'm not bad for an amateur okay! Nearly had a strike :( (missed one pin wtf.)

Bowled till like 11pm+...
Walked back to our hotel and the indoor theme park was still sooooo busy at that hour.
Even had ppl karaoke-ing Hokkien songs at Starbucks LOL.

Fell asleep easily that night.

Day3.

Woke up at 6am as usual...
Omg I'm rly lacking sleep:(

buffet for breakfast again and went to cousins' room again,
fell asleep on the couch again.
It's like a routine lmao.

Decided to ride the cable car at 10am.

Reached the farthest place the cable car could go,
so we took some pictures and went back up.

Annoying boy! He doesn't smile in pictures >_>

so yea anyway went back to our rooms and prepared to check out during noon.
Bade goodbye and said to meet back in Singapore.

Bought souvenirs + another chocolate marshmallow + tidbits.
Board the coach at approx 2pm and... Went back to SG unwillingly:((((

Can't believe the journey took so damn long!
Reached SG at 9pm, which means the journey was 7hrs. Heck???

Was dead beat when I reached home x.x

The dog balloon I requested from a clown who was making free balloons for ppl. Lol!
My cousins got lollipops which were cute.

OH YEA my aunt and uncle were having this conversation on the way to Strawberry P:

I realized that it sort of hurts to watch animes. Lol!

Cause when you finish watching a particular anime,

The rest were so-so, even a failure student like me thought that the papers were fairly manageable..

Anyway I got soooooooo much things to do!
Top priorities are:
- ~~Window~~ shopping with clique
- Tour Sentosa with cousins
- Overnight at cousins' house
- RE-WATCH ANIMES.
- Get my beauty sleep!
- Last but not least, gaming ;)

My freedom and happiness will be short-lived though,
cause my results wouldn't be ideal?
More importantly, would I be able to get into double science... :(

Hmmm.

This'll probably be my last post before the exams.
So..
I'll be MIA on blogger/facebook/msn..
I'm not even sure if I can hold out that long without using my laptop :/
I guess there's no other choice if I don't wanna flunk.

Idk how I survived my mid years ._.
and I think I wasted 1 year+ of my secondary school life slacking all the way.
Come to think about it, I kinda regret my happy-go-lucky attitude last year..
Cause I don't wanna get into..
Well, combined sci.

I'm actually getting cold feet just before exams which is quite normal.
Normal to the extend that although I claim to be afraid,
I'm still settling my ass here and playing games?

Better buck up.
It's never too late to be who you might have been.
So many things I wanna do after the exams..
Including continuing with my piano lessons.

Guess what.

I fucking spilled laksa on myself during recess.
... Don't ask me why, Idk!

I reached the table and was going to put the bowl on the table, then BOOM.
You can guess what happened..
The whole bowl overturned and laksa was everywhere.
There was laksa on my skirt and shirt, what the fuck.

Everybody in the canteen turned to stare at me..
I stunned there for 3 seconds and shouted, "walan eh!" loudly. Like really loud.

Accidentally spilled a little soup on Jo's skirt too..
I'm so sorry Jojo! =x
both of us stunned for 10 seconds, then rushed to the toilet.
Poured water on my skirt and the front of my skirt was like.. Drenched.

So both of us stood at the hand dryer (LOL!) trying to dry our skirts for 5 mins-.-
then went back and Jojo continued with her recess...
While I was starving there :'(
Only bought a packet of greentea. Gastric:(

so yeap.. I think I was kinda blur and tired cause I slept at 12.30am last night >_>
hell loads of stuffs going on in my mind,
can't concentrate in whatever I do.

Oh well.

In class, someone wrote on the board "8 more days to EOY".
Kinda shocked 'cause I thought 2 more weeks, but turned out to be lesser than 2 weeks..

Today.

Didn't bring my tie (again) for assembly, thought I would have detention but no;)
hmm what else.
I slept half an hour through physics lesson..
Did my maths assessment book through eng lesson..
That's all I think.

Thursday, 17/09.

On my birthday eve,
5 bestfriends of mine surprised me by showing up on my doorstep after school!
Around 3pm they came around,
I think the look on my face when I opened the door was priceless! Hahaha

DAY3!

Before I forget, here's the show I watched at The Lido:

3rd day, woke up at 7am!
Washed up etc, walked around Deck7..
Sooooo little people cause it's sooooo early.
Decided to try out Bella Vista for breakfast!

Bella Vista is a super grand restaurant with a DRESS CODE.
But the dress code's only for dinner =p
on the night of day2 I saw lots of ELEGANT women dressed up!!
Far more grand than going to a wedding I swear.
They dress up much more elegant than someone wearing a formal dress!
GOSH. Probably going to Bella Vista.

Not open at 7am..
Waited there until 7.30am, mom and I were the first few customers lol!

You can choose either "western" or "chinese" set breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Of course I chose western heh.

Damn big. So grand!

Got piano somemore! *thumbs up*

Wow. Lol

went to get toast bread as appetizers first,
then the waitress took our orders for the set meals.
15 minutes later we started eating ;)

THE FOOD'S GOOOOOOOD.

Finished breakfast, headed over to deck7 (as usual) and went outside.
Was so tired that I just sat down on a deck chair and fell asleep -.-

the morning sea breeze is cold!

Slept from 9.30 - 10am I think?
Woke up and day dreamed for a while haha.

Then there's this line dancing going on just few metres away from me!
So I sat on the floor to watch.

LOL for middle aged ~~aunties~~ women.
The male "teacher" at the front is super cute! (not his looks)
line dancing ended at 10.45am.

went to Galaxy of The Stars, slacked for a while, decided it was boring.
So went to have lunch at Bella Vista AGAIN! :D

it was lunch time so it's more crowded..
Had to wait 15mins for appetizer to arrive.

I don't like the appetizer!
SALAD EW GROSS.

Okay then our set meal took 45mins to arrive!!!
Only started having lunch at 12.30, but in a hurry cause we had to check out by 1PM.

Dessert! Not bad.

Okay so was in a hurry.
Quickly went back to cabin and got our luggages etc then went to deck7 to buy some souvenirs! :D

bought my souvenir, then headed to The Lido to gather so we can disembark the ship.
Slept in The Lido again lol!
Okay finally left the cruise unwillingly!!! :(((((((((((((((
so unwilling that I could have cried :(

HOLIDAY CRUISE DAY2.

Day2!

(if you don't read the words in this post, then it's actually pointless.)

Woke up at 6.30am to see the sunrise!
Bathed and changed etc, then went up to deck12 ;)

Awesomeness!

Stared at the beautiful sunrise till 7.30am then went back to cabin again.

People having a morning swim in the pool or jacuzzi!

Went out to have breakfast again, at some Chinese restaurant (I forgot the name T_T)

Had a seat by the window! Can view the sea :D

This was what we had for breakfast.

After breakfast, we walked around the souvenir shops (super expensive!).
Didn't buy anything though!

Had lunch at 1pm cause we were supposed to gather at The Lido to disembark the ship,
we're going Kuala Lumpur at 2pm!
The ship will reach Port Kelang at around.. 1.30pm.

Lunch at Mediterranean Buffet!

Everyone gathered at the Lido,
then when everything was settled we disembarked the ship.

Gotta walk a long way across the bridge!

We reached Port Kelang, then we gotta board a bus/coach to KL.

On the way to KL!
The journey was like 1hr+++ long.

So we finally officially reached KL, the tour guide told us to assemble at Macdonalds at 6pm.
Mom and I walked around the streets of KL!
Got the rural settlement kind of feel, instead of urban settlement =p

visited lots of shops to buy souvenirs for family and my friends;)
walked till my leg hurts >_>
rested at Macs for a while and waited for the coach to come and pick us up again.

so yup, the journey back to the ship was even longer, around 1.5hrs++.

walked across the lonnnnggggg bridge again..

Superstar Virgo <3 lol!

headed back to our cabin and got changed,
went out again for dinner.
It's the Chinese restaurant again for dinner! :)

had our fill, took a stroll at the top deck.
So many people going for a night swim ._.

There's even a tennis/basketball court! Lol.
But you gotta book the courts first at the Activity Centre ;)

Note: Activity Centre is where you book spa/gym/courts tickets, borrow library books etc.

AHAHAHAHHA

rested at the Bellini (refer to previous post) and waited till 9.50pm.
Cause we're going to The Lido!!!
The Lido is where performances are held, each year the most elite performers get to perform at Virgo!!
Mostly from overseas.
Every year the performances are different but equally FAB!!

When the show starts you gotta switch off all phones and cameras,
cause no phototaking allowed! :(

Show ended at 10.50pm.
The performance was breathtaking, the acrobats were FANTASTIC.
AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x 1000000000000
No kidding!

The guys angmoh performers all have 6 pacs,
all of them are... gorgeous. Even the ladies are gorgeous!
Their dancing is MARVELLOUS, SYF is nothing compared to them!!!

There was supposed to be another show after that, at 11.30pm.
I couldn't go, cause it's a TOPLESS SHOW.
Which means M18! SAD TO THE MAX :((((((
Ugh fuck it!

Went back to our cabin at 11pm,
watched tv and went to bed at 12am.

(hehe when I was at deck7, I was looking at this HUGE stuffed bear -same height as me- and this photographer came up to me and asked me to take photographs. I was like lol wtf! But the bear's cute and I couldn't resist heh. Will show pictures in the next post)

HOLIDAY CRUISE DAY1.

Hello!
Gonna update the first day of my cruise during Sep hols.
It's the 2nd time I went to a cruise with mom!
Love it to the max.

Drove to Harbourfront and checked in and stuffs, finally boarded at 10.30pm.

Note: Deck 12 is the highest floor:)

Checked in and organized clothes etc.

Our cabin! NICE RIGHT. But got other rooms more expensive ones have BALCONY and WINDOW. Tsk

Deck 7, the main hall aka where the receptions are! CHIO RIGHT

Lovely ceilings!!

Walked around and went to deck 12, Mediterranean Buffet to have supper.

After that walked to the LIBRARY!

I swear it is goddamn gorgeous. SEE!!

Went to deck 8, here's the band playing at the BELLINI.

It's a place where you can drink and smoke while enjoying the cruise's 2 own bands!
Their singing is awesome:)
